How many boats do you have?
We have two sailing yachts  –  our 56′ Gulfstar Ketch “Riding High” accommodates up to 26 guests, and our 41′ Morgan sloop “Wind Dance” accommodates up to 12 guests.

What are your cruising areas?
We sail the island chain that stretches out to the East of Nassau including Atholl Island, Rose Island (North and South sides) and Green Cay where there are gorgeous beaches, fantastic coral reefs for snorkeling, and miles of our beautiful turquoise water!

Is there a minimum number of guests for your small group cruises?
For private charters you may have any number of you up to 26 people aboard Riding High and 12 of you aboard Wind Dance.  We have a 10 person minimum to launch our small group 3 1/4H cruises, a minimum of 8 people to launch our 4 1/4H & 6H cruises, and we need 12 people for a sunset cruise. If we don’t have a confirmed cruise for you with our minimum, we will work on building a trip for your requested date and when we get other bookings we’ll let you know right away.  No payment is required before your cruise is confirmed.

What should we (or shouldn’t we) bring along?
TOWELS, swimsuits, sunscreen (lotions only, no sprays or oils), cameras, hats, etc. etc. – there is lots of space on board for bags. It is easiest to wear swimsuits, but there are also 2 restrooms on board, and several cabins, if you would like to change. If you think you don’t want to be in your wet swimsuit the whole cruise, then feel free to bring along a change of clothes. During our “winter” months we’d recommend bringing along a wind jacket or sweatshirt, and a pair of long pants, if you think you might be cool during the sail home.

Is it really a barefoot cruise?
Yes!  The shoes you wear are not important as we really are a barefoot cruise – we ask our guests to remove their shoes because it keeps the decks of our sailboats beautifully clean, for your enjoyment and comfort throughout the cruise.

Where are you located?
We are centrally located at Bayshore Marina on East Bay Street – this is a 5-7 minute drive from Paradise Island, downtown Nassau and the Cruise Ship Dock, and a 20 minute drive from the Cable Beach area.  If you have a rental car,we have lots of free parking.

Where do we snorkel?
All of our snorkeling takes place at great coral reefs all around Rose Island and Atholl Island, all within the marine park with lots of colorful reef fish.  The water is shallow – about 10′-15′ deep – so perfect for snorkeling.

Is the snorkeling gear included?
We have lots of great snorkel gear on board which is included, so you don’t need to bring gear, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have it with you. We also rent the newer style full face masks ($10 – cash).  Your crew will be happy to give instruction in snorkeling, or refresher pointers, upon request.  There are swim waist belts (required) on board, and also life jackets are available (upon request).

Is your snorkeling better for experienced or beginner snorkelers?
On our 3 1/4H cruises the snorkeling takes place directly off the sailboat (there is no beaching on this cruise).  On our 4 1/4H & 6H cruises you may snorkel straight from your sailboat, or you may also ride into shore in our small boat/tender and start your snorkeling from shore, which is great for both experienced snorkelers and beginners!
